I had an otherwise forgettable class a few years back in which the prof told us "everyone has something to say; the important part is actually expressing it."
Since then I've battled apathy and written infrequently, although never publicly. This blog is an attempt to rectify that. It's going to be a topical blog, focusing on my interests: mainly international/Canadian politics and sports. I haven't been an angst-filled teen in a while so I don't foresee this denigrating into typical MySpace fare (my personal life isn't that interesting anyway).
Feel free to comment, ridicule, whatever. My main goal is to improve my writing; if I shoot the moon and provoke some good discussion, then that's an added bonus.
